Parque Gentil

A series of artificial gardens unfolds through concrete, burnt steel, local clay, and fragments recovered from past fires. Developed during the Ponte d'Arte residency in Portugal, Parque Gentil inhabits the grounds of a rural house as a landscape of quiet transformations, where natural and fabricated elements coexist in states of fragility and renewal.

Conceived as a work in progress, the installation reflects on how personal and collective experiences become embedded within place. Between memory, loss, and regeneration, the work proposes a contemplative terrain where care emerges as a subtle form of resistance.
