Sound Mirrors

 

Sound Mirrors is a collaborative generative ambient release by Lila Tirando a Violeta and Manuela Vilanova. Developed during the isolation of 2020, the project unfolds through two evolving compositions where Uruguayan wildlife field recordings, Gregorian chants, spoken word, and ethereal hardware synthesizers merge into a fluid sonic ecology suspended between memory, distance, and imagined landscapes.

Released by DreamShore, the physical edition—now sold out—combined silver cassette tapes housed in hand-sculpted ceramic cases with a folded poster, extending the work into a tactile sculptural object.
